Design/Build Crew Manager—The Native Design Group LLC

Lead high-end outdoor construction and build a crew that can deliver it.

Full-time field leadership | Tucson, AZ | 50+ hours per week | $27–$32/hour

You’ll lead the people and field execution behind high-end residential design/build projects. The goal is straightforward: train a capable crew, keep the work moving every day, protect the client’s property, and help put at least $100,000 of quality work in the ground each month.

Is this you?

You know how to build, not just talk about building. You have strong masonry and hardscape experience, understand the realities of irrigation and low voltage, can identify and work with plants, and know how artificial turf should be installed. You take pride in the finished result and can build a team around safety, craftsmanship, communication, and ownership.

The work

You’ll turn project plans into a clear daily field plan, organize labor and materials, lead the crew through construction phases, and check the work before it is called complete. You’ll work ahead on tools, equipment, materials, and subcontractor needs so the crew is not waiting on preventable problems.

You’ll also coach people. This is not a lead-installer role where you simply do the hardest work yourself. You’ll set the standard, teach the standard, and hold the crew accountable to it.

What success looks like

• The Design/Build division puts at least $100,000 of work in the ground each month.

• The crew has a clear plan and produces quality work every day, with blockers raised early.

• High-end residential work is built safely, cleanly, and to the design intent, with rework and punch-list issues actively prevented.

Where it goes

As you prove consistent production leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to develop people, the path can expand toward larger project-phase ownership, Design/Build Production Lead, Project Manager, or broader operations leadership as the business grows and the need exists.
